Allison is the UKQB Blog Manager and has been playing quizbowl since 2022. She finished a Masters in linguistics at the University of Sheffield last year.
When she isn't quizzing, Allison may be found working at the University of Sheffield, talking about minimalist syntax and engaging with several crafty hobbies.
Brendan is UKQB's outreach officer, a role which can be summarised as making sure as many people as possible get to play student quizbowl. He is currently a third year Linguistics student at the University of Cambridge, specialising in Historical Linguistics.
When not quizzing, Brendan can be found writing and editing quiz questions, doing admin work in his other role as President of Cambridge University Quiz Society, on various forms of transit (see photo), rock climbing, singing, at a pub, or doing several of the above things combined.

In the event that Oscar is neither working, quizzing, nor writing quizzes, he may be playing classical guitar or replaying old games in the Total War series.
Izzy is the social media manager for UKQB and is a second year English Literature student at Sheffield. CT (pictured on the left) is entering his final year of Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Sheffield. He is also the Quiz Bowl officer for Sheffield Quiz Society, having fallen down the quiz hole in 2024 (he has since never escaped and has made a life down there).
When escaped from the lab, he can be found frolicking in the Peak District, falling over repeatedly on ice, or generally scampering about and causing problems before he is soon re-captured.
Jamie is UKQB's Digital Content Officer, in charge of video output, a largely practical role despite having done an entirely theoretical MA in Film Studies at Southampton, where they served on the quiz society committee and helped bring them back into quizbowl. They are also a prolific writer for tournaments within and outside of the UK circuit, which has led to them teaming up with Brendan to head-edit 2025's housewritten British Novice set. When not quizzing (and avoiding questions of when she'll appear on The Chase) Louise can be found rambling about the Hunters of Artemis and Assassin's Creed, or strategically planning her next trip to Waterstones to expand the library slowly overtaking her bedroom.
Benedykt is a UKQB Ordinary Committee Member who is also the President of the University of Southampton's Quiz Society. He is studying for an MEng in Mechanical Engineering.
